Did you know that 7% of communication is words and the other 93% of communication is body language and voice tone? Being an actor for 13 years and receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in theatre, I understand the importance voice plays in social dynamics and everyday life. In the years of my training, I have learned many techniques and exercises for maximizing the potential of voice.
In this consultation, we will begin by teaching proper breathing techniques, the four vocal areas, how to use your diaphragm, and projection exercises.
We will then move onto facial exercises, annunciation and diction exercises, speed, rhythm, tonality, and finally fine tuning any quirks you may still have.
This consultation is a lot to learn so it is suggested that you bring something to write things down on.
It is also recommended that you reserve AT LEAST 2 hours for this consultation since most of the time will be spent unlearning ineffective habits.
