Value, in the dating world, is the relative attractiveness you bring to the table.  Value is completely subjective to each person.  Some examples of the word usage are: social value, perceived value, intrinsic value, giving value, or value taking.  Social value is how popular you are.  Perceived value is how much value another person perceives you to have.  Intrinsic value is how much value you feel you have.  Giving value is to provide people with validation, great conversation, and positive emotions, while taking value is bringing people down, being creepy, or trying to get validation from people.

A pawn is someone who unwittingly helps you gain social proof and perceived value.  An example of pawn is a cute woman you approach only to use her as a means to get jealousy from another woman.  Pawning is never a nice practice and should be avoided. A piglet is the stereotypical superficial club chick who dresses like a hooker, treats people like dirt to boost their self esteem, has no goals, has no personality or an awful one, and won’t talk to you unless you show signs of wealth. Piglet was coined by our former student, Energizer. The male equivalent is pig.

A pivot is someone who willingly helps you gain social proof and perceived value.  Also known as a female wing.

Pick up (PU) is the generalized term used to describe the act and art form of approaching a woman, attracting her, and building a relationship.  The synonym for pickup is game.

A pick up artist (PUA) is a term used to describe people in our community that actively study the art of pick up and practice on a regular basis.

A pick up guru (PUG) is a famous master PUAs that teaches the art of pickup.  Some famous PUGs include David DeAngelo, Mystery, Tyler, and Matador.

A recovering average frustrated chump (rAFC) is a person who was once an AFC, but has now swallowed the red pill and has been introduced to this community. He/she is actively working to improve his/herself to become a PUA, but still lacks skill. The uncapitalized letter “r” denotes newbie skill. The capitalized letter “R” denotes beginner skill. The difference between a PUA and an RAFC is the PUA is no longer frustrated.

A root is the logical reason why you approached a group of strangers that you use wihin the first few seconds of an opener to ease the tension and answers their question, “Why is this person talking to us?”

Sarging is a synonym for PU or pick up.  Sarging is the act and art form of meeting and attracting someone.

A set is a group of people.  A mixed set is a group of people which includes at least one male and one female.  The number prefixing the set is the amount of people in the group.  Examples are 2set, 3set, 7set with 2, 3 and 7 people in the set respectively.

A succubus is a woman who sucks the soul from an unsuspecting PUA, usually by entrapping him into a relationship and turning him into her pet. Once a man is under the spell of a succubus, it is nearly impossible to free him.

A super hot babe (SHB) is someone who you consider to be one of the most beautiful people you’ve ever seen.

A shit test is a conscious or unconscious test a woman gives to a man to judge whether or not he is a loser or a keeper based on your reaction. Ex: “Aren’t you going to buy me a drink?” “Are you trying to pick me up?” “Why don’t you call me in three days and we’ll see.” We teach how to handle shit tests in our dating boot camps.

Social proof is another term to describe your social status and popularity.  A person who has high social proof is generally regarded as being more attractive.  Knowing how to create social value in a room full of strangers is life skill set that will take you very far in life.

A statement of disinterest (SOD) is communicating directly to a person that you are disinterested in them. Ex: “Please go away, I’m trying to talk to my friends and I don’t like you.” “You’re not my type.” “Let’s just be friends.”

A statement of intent (SOI) is directly communicating sexual intent. Ex: “You’re sexy.” “I like you.” “Let’s go back to my place.”  This must be done at some point in the interaction in order to create a romantic relationship.  If it is not done soon enough, you will only become a friend.

A sticking point (SP) is a specific area of game that a person has trouble with.  Sticking points can range from having trouble approaching, not knowing what to say after approaching, approach anxiety, inner game, phone game, and the list goes on.  We, at Miami Dating Coach, find these sticking points and fix them.

State is the the relationship between logic and emotional thinking that a person is currently in. High state is primarily emotional high energy and confident. Low state is logical thinking, insecure, and low energy. Pump state is the act of increasing the strength of someones emotions. In state is the state of mind where you are not thinking, but living in the moment.

A target is the person who you are interested in and want to attract.

An ugly girl or ugly guy (UG) is someone who is less than average in the looks department.

Vibing is improvisational conversation with a mix of attraction and comfort building elements. Generally known as demonstrating personality without the use of prescripted routines. Other words used to describe vibing are standard game, shooting the shit, and gaming.

A way below average frustrated chump (WBAFC) is someone who has never had a single success with the opposite sex. A virgin, never kissed, never had a chance… just a poor soul.
