Inner game is your self confidence, the way you think and perceive things, your beliefs, outlooks, and mindsets.  Solid inner game is the foundation to great outer game, which is technique, lines, and tactics.  Without great inner game, you will always come off as needy or insecure.

A hot guy (HG) is an attractive man. HB is the female equivalent. Hot Babe.

Indicators of Disinterest (IODs) are anything a person does to show disinterest in you. Turning around, calling you a loser, looking away, verbally saying “Go away.”

Indicators of interest (IOIs) are anything a person does to show interest in you. Seeking rapport, calling you cute, playing with hair, verbally saying “I like you.” There is another concept called Passive IOIs. Passive IOIs are when someone unconsciously shows interest in you. An example of this is when a woman’s friends start walking away, but she continues talking to you even though her friends are trying to get her to leave.

Kinesthetics (Kino) is the act of physically touching someone. Handshake, hair stroking, hugging, kissing, etc. Necessary in kino escalation. Kino escalation is the art of making someone physically comfortable with you.

Let’s just be friends (LJBF) is the dreaded speech a woman gives to a man when she is utterly and completely uninterested. A common phrase a nice guy hears from women on a constant basis. There are only three ways to get out of the dreaded let’s just be friends zone. LJBF her before she does and have her help you meet women. If she sees other women chasing you, her natural instincts will kick in and she will start appreciating you again, stop acting like a nice guy around her, or move on to someone else.

Last minute resistance (LMR) is the emotional reaction a woman feels before she sleeps with a man for the first time. Women sometimes feel an intense fear before consummating the relationship. This is usually due to the fact that she doesn’t know you well, is afraid to be perceived as a slut by anybody, doesn’t want to make a mistake, etc. Sex is a much bigger emotional deal to women than men. See also FMR.

Low self esteem or (LSE) is a person with little or no self confidence. This term is often used to describe a woman who is extremely needy or overly sensitive to teasing. Low self esteem is also a major factor in a lack of inner game. It is important that you believe yourself to be a highly desirable person before you expect others to believe the same of you.

LTRs or long term relationships are generally described as a long withstanding monogamous relationship. You can also use the acronym LTR as a noun as well. “My LTR of three years just dumped me” or “I want this girl to become my LTR.” Never settle for less when choosing someone as your long term relationship. Finding a girlfriend can be easy if you know what to look for.

MLTRs or multiple long term relationships describe a situation where you are in more than one committed relationship. An MLTR can be between people who are all committed to each other or between people who are cheating on two or more different partners. MLTR can also be used as a noun. “My MLTRs, Janice and Annette, found out about each other and broke up with me” or “My MLTR wants to be monogamous with me know.” Multiple long term relationships might sound great on paper to most guys, but if you don’t know what you’re getting into, it could become very sour and time consuming.

A natural or player is a person who is naturally great with the opposite sex. Has not studied the Venusian arts and is naturally very gifted at dating.

Originally coined by Mystery, negs are backhanded compliments or playful teases that disarm bitch shields. Ex: “Oh my god, your nose wiggles when you talk, it’s so cute!” “You’re hair is gorgeous, but how did you dye the roots that color?” The purpose of a neg is to take a snobby woman off her pedestal and show her that you’re not the typical suck up.  A common misconception is that negs should be used all the time, but this is untrue.  Negs should only be used as a punishment to women who treat you condescendingly.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a branch of psychology that deals with mind frames, hypnosis, and visualizations. The first coach to ever use Neuro Linguistic Programming for the use of improving dating skills was Ross Jeffries (I do not recommend him). Others followed in his place including David DeAngelo, Swingcat, and Hypnotica. NLP is a concept used to improve inner game and self esteem, as well as enhancing your conversation skills to have a greater ability to influence people.

An obstacle is anything or anyone that could potentially block you from the person you are interested in. Learning how to turn obstacles into friends is a required skill if you are to attempt picking up women who are in groups.

Oneitis is a “disease” that happens when you like someone so much that you make AFC mistakes and over analyze your interactions with that person.  Oneitis can also be a noun, a person who you are absolutely infatuated with and think about all the time.  Do not mistake the feeling of being in love with oneitis.  Usually, people fall in love after months of dating.  Oneitis can also be replaced with infatuation, but oneitis is typically more severe.

A one night stand (ONS) is someone who you’ve hooked up with or slept with only one time.  One night stands typically occur late nights at bars and clubs where the two people meet, go home with each other, and never see each other again.

An opener is a question or statement designed to begin a conversation with a stranger or group of people. Opening is oftentimes the hardest skill set to learn for people new to the dating scene.
